MX Response to the Crowdstrike Windows Update: MX is aware of and is monitoring developments around the Crowdstrike Falcon Content Update for Windows Hosts. MX production services do not have a significant reliance on Windows systems for customer services and MX has seen negligible impacts from this failure. Partners, This maintenance event will continue as planned, however, the scope and times will change to accommodate the updated itinerary for this event. Updated Event Overview: - We will be reducing the time window from 8 hours to 4 hours - The new window will be from 10:00pm Mountain Time until 02:00am Mountain time. - The site switch effort will be postponed to a later date. A new notification will be sent as we finalize details in the coming days. New Maintenance Event Overview: Maintenance events that were planned will still take place during this time window. - We will be conducting updates and upgrades to core networking equipment and services This Scheduled Maintenance event is expected to impact production services sporadically as updates are applied but not continuously throughout the time window as the hardware and services are upgraded, updated and rebooted. Graceful shutdowns and restarts will take effect wherever possible. We encourage our partners to ensure that they have the most recent IP Addresses whitelisted as new requests will be serviced from alternate IP Addresses. Rollback Procedures: A reversal to any configuration change to the last known good configuration will be performed in the event of an issue Maintenance Begins: Wednesday, July 17th, at 10:00 PM Mountain Time Maintenance Ends: Thursday, July 18th, at 02:00 AM Mountain Time Environment(s) Impacted: Production Products Impacted: All MX Production services will be impacted
